So before you go ahead and buy cosmetics online, or even in any store for that matter, there are a few things that you are going to want to think about more. Sure you know that you want to get discount cosmetics online, but are you aware of what color cosmetics you need to be getting? Do you know what skin type and tone you have? These are important things to know if you want to make sure that you are going to buy cosmetics online that are actually going to work for you.
Take a Look at Yourself in the Mirror
So the first thing that you want to do if you are planning to buy cosmetics online is take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Sure you have done this before a million times but you really want to take a good close look at yourself this time. Just by looking at yourself like this, you are going to be able to figure out what the best makeup set will be for you.

You want to look at your complexion and hair color in order to determine what cosmetics are going to look best on you. To figure out your skin tone, you want to flip your hand over and take a look at the veins around your wrist area. If they are a green color then you have a warm skin tone and if they look bluer then you have a cool skin tone. This is of huge importance because if you want to buy cosmetics online you are only going to be able to figure out what colors are going to look nice on you once you have determined your skin tone.

Also if you want to buy cosmetics online you are going to want to look at your lips. If they are already quite full, you are not going to need lipliner, and not many people wear it anymore anyway. Lip gloss will be enough to give your lips that healthy plump look, and you want to keep your lipstick toned down through the day for work, and can then spice it up a bit at night if you want if you are going out.

These are all important things that are going to be very determining in regards to which cosmetics you should be purchasing for yourself, especially if you are going to be doing your shopping online.
